THG utilizes qualitative as well as quantitative methods to render functional solutions for research questions. The THG well-published team of research scientists has the ability to collect and analyze any type of primary or secondary data. The research staff holds doctoral and masters degrees in sociology, statistics, psychology, epidemiology, anthropology, and health policy. Our team uses SAS, SPSS, PACE or SUDAAN to establish sample sizes and conduct univariate and multivariate analysis of any size data set. We also use AMOS for structural modeling and ArcView GIS to develop geographic models. THG has experience conducting national and local evaluations of various programs. Our staff uses both primary and secondary data gathered through focus group testing, surveys, site visits, interviews, literature reviews, and program reports to assist in policy and program recommendations. Last, THG researchers also have experience with developing surveys (protocols and instruments) for IRB review and OMB clearance.
